RoboNet-II Data Release Policy
RoboNet-II uses a fully automated global network of robotic telescopes to perform follow-up observations of
microlensing events in the Galactic Bulge with the aim of discovering new extrasolar planets. These new detections will provide crucial constraints to models of planetary formation and orbital migration enhancing in the process our understanding of what these processes involve. Settling this question is pertinent to comprehending the necessary conditions for the emergence of life.
Robonet-II data and related event information become immediately available to the community as soon as they are analysed by our software. Continuous automated assessment of the observations and anomaly detection is provided by the
ARTEMiS system. Please note that all data available on this page are based on preliminary reductions. These reductions are updated often as and when new data become available. If you would like to use RoboNet-II data for publications, please contact us (robonet at lcogt.net). We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate, and may require co-authorship where appropriate.
